Join Ms. Stacy as she brings a book to life through song and dance. The adventure will begin with a story and then we will explore it further with fun and active musical activities. For children ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Drop in to play board games at the library.  Bring your friends and family to play some old favorites like Uno and Sorry and some new classics like King of Tokyo and Outfoxed.  For children aged 5 and up and their families.

Drop in for some Lego fun and build a creation with friends.   We will display your amazing creations in the library until the next week.  This is a drop in program, no registration required. 

Join us for a summer concert on the library porch! There will be fun games set up for the whole family.

On the morning of April 29, 1986, a fire alarm sounded in the Los Angeles Public Library. As the moments passed, the patrons and staff who had been cleared out of the building realized this was not the usual fire alarm.
