New York is one the US most populous states in the country. Despite that its diverse wildlife persist and as of late has been moving closer to home. Many species have or are adapting to living near us. This means an increased chance of wildlife encounters, and some can be potentially dangerous. Learn how to identify the signs of wildlife living near you, how to stay safe and admire these creatures without putting them or yourself at risk.
